I’m right next to the Leper’s squint in Saint Mary’s Cathedral. Now this tiny little hole in the wall is where the lepers would have stood on the other side squinting in to see the mass and the communion passed out here at an arms length. Now these people were kept outside because in those days these people were seen as untouchable.
So the altar we can see behind e here is beautiful. Its made of limestone…..
