Originally a Courthouse and later a The Town Hall before being rejuvenated and given life as a cinema and then theatre, the Town Hall Galway almost in the centre of the city of the Tribes with the Corrib running alongside dates to the 1820’s and refurbished in 1995.
One of the main venues for the various festivals held in galway including the Arts Festival (July), Galway Film Fleadh (July), Cuirt Literary Festival (April) and Baboro Children’s Arts Festival (October).
Many of Druid Theatre Company performances also take place at the Town Hall Theatre.
