The Clarence

Built in 1852, the Clarence was refurbished during the late Thirties in its original style which it retained for the next two centuries until its sale and refurbishment to the glorious state it is in today by a consortium which included a number of members if U2.

The 4 star hotel is centrally located in the city centre overlooking the River Liffey and close to Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, Christ Church, the busy Grafton Street shopping district, Trinity College, the National Gallery, St Stephen’s Green, Vicar Street music emporium, the O2 and many more of Dublin’s more famous attractions and entertainment venues.
