Oxegen

A festival not for the faint hearted and probably not for those too fond of their creature comforts unless those comforts are the ones favoured by those aged from 18 to 25.

A strong constitution and gallons of energy or the ability to sleep (who said sleep?) might be a pre requisite. But the music line up is usually just brilliant. Worldwide acts brought together over a hectic weekend of fun, frolics and well maybe even some alcoppoholics every summer, the festival has become a rite of passage for many of Ireland’s younger generation centred around the Punchestown racecourse.

If even reading about it exhausts you, better drop off the young ones and make a hasty retreat to the nearby Carlton House Hotel.
