Live Music in Ireland this August

Foo Fighters and The Stone Roses will headline this year’s festival, at Boucher Road Playing Fields, Belfast this August Joining two mammoth headliners on an exciting bill ever seen at a festival in Northern Ireland are The Black Keys and Florence + The Machine. Foo Fighters make their long awaited Northern Irish debut on Day 1 followed by The Black Keys while headlining Day 2 are The Stone Roses followed by Florence + The Machine.

Brit rockers Kasabian  and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have been announced for a very special Marlay Park summer double headliner on August 23rd, with special guests The Cribs. This line-up will be the biggest treat Irish rock fans will get all summer! Kasabian took the world by storm in the noughties. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have taken their 16 month tour all over the world this year, returning home this summer to play U.K. and Ireland.

Emeli Sande will play Dublin’s Olympia this August. The Scottish singer became known after she featured on rapper Chipmunks 3rd single which gained both artists a first top 10 single on UK singles chart.

Female vocalist/rapper Nicki Minaj will host a sold out Olympia Theatre Dublin concert this August. Her hit single ‘Starships’ charted in the Top 20 on iTunes in over 40 countries and has sold over 5 million tracks worldwide, including Double Platinum sales in Ireland. Nicki Minaj ’s latest studio album release ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ has sold over 1.5 Million albums worldwide, since its release.

UK superstar James Morrison has just announced a return to Ireland promoting his latest studio album ‘The Awakening’. James Morrison  will perform live at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin this August. His third album “The Awakening” has just been released and follows the huge global success of James’s previous two albums which, together, have sold more than 4.5 million copies worldwide.
