Feet first in Galway this summer

It’s Wednesday. It’s raining. It’s Galway.

It must be time for the Roundstone Trad nights. Or take yourself along to Galway cathedral and indulge in something a little more classical or operatic over the summer months.

You might be lucky enough to catch the end of the Galway Sessions around the pubs and streets of Galway city mid June though of course you will find live music all year round in and around the city of the tribes.

Kicking off July in classical style are the lunchtime concerts at the library series also in the city.

Further out you can join the natives in their native tongue this July in Spiddal at their trad music festival while at the other end of the spectrum, the Irish Chamber Orchestra are hoping to put their best foot forward in showcasing a Feet First production which promises to combine the old and new at Clifden in Galway in July.

String the kids along and get them back into the school groove at the end of August in Letterfrack with their Summer School for strings event

And when the heat of the sun has warmed your bones and the legs are weary, you can relax in style at one of the great 5 star luxury hotels Galway has to offer, including
