The “Angela’s Ashes” film starring Emily Watson and Robert Carlyle provided backdrops for Frank Mc Court’s native city in nearby Limerick while distinctive Dromore Castle, also in Limerick was used in the 1988 Neil Jordan comedy, “High Spirits” starring Peter O’Toole, Daryl Hannah and Liam Neeson.

So dim the lights, grab the popcorn, settle back in your deluxe Queen Anne bed in 5 star luxurious gothic splendour at Dromoland and lights, camera, action…
